Symbio Flex

Symbio values the balance between your personal and professional life. Full-time employees are only required to be in office 1-2 days per week. Work with your manager on bespoke working arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

Parental leave

On top of the Australian government’s parental leave offering, Symbio provides an additional 26 weeks of fully paid leave including super contributions for primary and secondary carers - incredible support for all new parents.
New grandparents also benefit from 5 days grandparent paid leave.

Wellness workshops

The Symbio calendar of learning & development courses includes wellbeing focused workshops. We cover topics like sleeping patterns, stress and nutrition.

Cheers For Peers

The 'Cheers For Peers' program celebrates employee successes in an open forum and rewards them with perks. This is a great opportunity to celebrate wins, share stories, and recognise someone for a job well done.

Symbio social events

Each year, we have an exciting calendar full of social events for our team to take part in. Previous events include everything from dragon boat racing on Sydney Harbour to online Chess tournaments, along with A Taste of Harmony, where employees brought in foods that reflect their cultural origins.

Join a club

At Symbio, there’s endless ways to meet people and connect with the wider team. We have different clubs available to join, as well as MS Teams groups to participate in. Some of our current MS Teams groups include the Home Renovations, Veggie Patches and Green channels, where you can post photos, share ideas or just have a chat about your out of work interests.

Community service leave

Take advantage of our community service leave to help out with a charity of your choice or join a community service day with one of our partners. One of our previous days was spending an afternoon at Ronald McDonald House, where duties included cooking up a Mexican feast, arts and crafts with the children and face painting.
